Good Car Count at Test and Tune April 20

LEXINGTON, NE (April 20) - Thirty-two cars in four different classes showed up for the test and tune day at Dawson County Raceway on Sunday, April 20. Each class had four sessions of hot laps on the track. The first three sessions for each class went off pretty uneventful. On the fourth session, a couple of cars in different classes found the front stretch wall. No drivers were injured, but there was significant damage to both cars. The season opener for Dawson County Raceway will be next Sunday, April 27. The gates will open at 5 PM, and the races will start at 7 PM, Central time. The IMCA BST Modified series will be racing against the local IMCA Modified drivers for an added purse. The IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks will be running as well. Grandstand admission for the night will be $12 for adults, $5 for children 6 - 12, and free for children 5 and under. Pit passes will be $25.
