Lincoln County Raceway hosts June 7 Run For The Money special

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (June 3) – Lincoln County Raceway hosts its sixth annual Run For The Money special, with four sanctioned divisions on the Tuesday, June 7 program.

Top prize for the IMCA Modifieds is $900. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars vie for $550 to win and both IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run for $325 checks.

NebraskaLand National Bank has added a total of $1,000 to the Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock winners’ shares of the purse. All applicable IMCA points will be awarded and the distance for feature events in all four divisions will be 25 laps.

Tow money is $75 for Modifieds, $50 for the Stocks and $40 for Hobbies and SportMods.

Pit gates at North Platte open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Entry fee for drivers who have not competed previously this season at Lincoln County is $45.

Grandstand ad­mission is $12 for adults and $6 for kids, with five and under admitted free. Pit passes are $25.
