take the wheel this Wednesday at Southern Iowa Speedway
OSKALOOSA, Iowa (June 27) – Another wild Wednesday night of racing action
returns this Wednesday, June 29, to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa,
Iowa, with Kids Night presented by Pro-Line Buildings.
A fun night of special prizes, a candy grab, money toss, bike giveaways and
kids’ rides in race cars around the half-mile Mahaska County Monster will
keep the kids entertained while fans young and old will witness the American
Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring Musco USRA Modifieds, USRA Karl
Chevrolet Stock Cars, Carter's Manufacturing USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby
Stocks.
With 21 or more entries in each class on Wednesday, Modifieds race for
$1,000 to win and Stock Cars battle for $400 to win, while B-Mods and Hobby
Stocks contend for a $300 top prize.
In addition to a weekly purse that rivals most tracks in the Hawkeye State,
the region’s fastest and most talented drivers will be battling all season
long for lucrative track and national points funds in all four divisions as
part of the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series.

Pit gate opens at 5 p.m., spectator tickets go on sale at 5:30, hot laps
begin at 7:15 and racing starts at 7:30. Tickets are just $8 for adults, $3
for kids ages 6-12 and children 5 and under always get in for free. Pit
passes are $25.
The Southern Iowa Speedway is a half-mile semi-banked clay oval located 0.5
mile west of US 63 on SR 92, then 0.3 mile north on I St. (at the Southern
