by Robert Cortum - Midwest All Star Series

QUINCY, IL (August 6) - Before a near-sellout crowd, Jerrod Hull put on a display of driving ability holding off "The Last Remaining True Outlaw" Danny Smith and the defending Knoxville Raceway Track Champion Brian Brown to lead all 30 laps of the June 1^st event at Quincy Raceways. Due to the excitement of the race and the fans overwhelming response, the O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series has been invited back to the Illinois facility for 1 more night in 2008 on Sunday, September 21st.

Many of the drivers were impressed with the tracks configuration and the hospitality they received back in June making this a benefit for everyone involved. Fans will once again be thrilled with the “Best of the Midwest” racing against many traveling teams and local talent.
Quincy Raceways is located in Quincy, Illinois and is primarily a Late Model and Modified facility, however the fan base has an enormous hunger for sprint car racing and it showed in June. Fans have voiced their opinions about bringing back the high-horsed 410 sprinters and the series is proud to be able to put on a display for them one more time in 2008.
