ILMO Lightning Mini Sprint Championship & Budweiser Late Model Shootout on Tap at Quincy Raceways for Sunday October 3, 2010
 

QUINCY, IL (September 27) - Quincy Raceways will be racing on Sunday October 3, 2010 with the Selby Implement Company & Noxin Trucking Night at the races featuring the ILMO Lightning Mini Sprint State Championship as well as the Budweiser Late Model Shootout. The ILMO Lightning Mini Sprint event is a first for Quincy Raceways with over twenty of the 1000 to 1205cc powered winged midgets expected to be on hand for a purse that guarantees at least $400 to win for 20 or more cars registered to race. The Budweiser Late Model shootout will pay $1000 to Win for 15 or more cars entered and $700 to Win for 14 or less cars entered. This special event will feature cars from the IMCA Late Models, UMP Crate Pro Crate Late Models and possibly cars that race under the ULMA sanctioning body rules. Specific rules concerning tires and weights can be found at www.quincyraceways.com. The Miller Lite UMP Modifieds will race for $500 to Win and UMP National, Region and State Points,

The Tim’s Machine Shop Hobby Stocks and the Triple R Performance Engines IMCA Stock Cars will also be participating in another special event as the two classes will be combined along with the Lee County Speedway and 34 Raceways Hobby Stocks in a event that will pay $400 to Win and $65 to Start. The Quincy 9:1 360ci Hobby Stocks may run any two or four barrel carburetor and must pump and whistle to their usual specifications, the Lee County and 34 Raceway Hobby Stocks must be legal to their respective tracks Hobby Stock Rules. The IMCA Stock Cars must compete under the normal IMCA Stock Car Rules. Any Quincy Hobby Stocks that do not want to use the 9:1 360ci engine may compete under the Lee County and 34 Raceway Hobby Stock Rules.

The Miller Lite UMP Modifieds will be racing for $500 to Win and $115 to Start with UMP National, Region and State Points being awarded.

Adult tickets are $10, Seniors $7, Students (11-15) $5, Kids 10 and Under are Free, and a Family Pass is $25 for two adults and two students. Pit Passes will be $22. The Pit Gates will open at 2: Grandstands at 3, Driver Meeting and Driver Registration ends at 3:45, Hot Laps at 4 and racing action at 4:30pm.
