Mother Nature Wins Again at Quincy, Make Up Scheduled for Wednesday June 29 QUINCY, IL (June 26, 2011) - Mother Nature dumped over 2 inches of rain on Quincy Raceways on Saturday June 25 forcing the postponement of the Pepsi Mid-Season Championship to Wednesday June 29. The appearance of Kenny Wallace also scheduled for this week at Quincy Raceways will be rescheduled if arrangements can be made with Wallace. The track conditions can best be described as “Soupy” as some flash flooding also occurred leaving nothing but mud and water standing everywhere. The Wednesday June 29 make up night will see the Pit Gates open at 4, Grandstands at 5, Drivers Meeting at 6:15, Drivers Registration ending at 6:15, Hot Laps at 6:30 and Racing scheduled at 7:00pm. The Budweiser IMCA Late Models and the Triple R Performance Engines IMCA Stock Cars will not be racing for points as special events for both those classes are scheduled at other tracks on that date, but the Miller Lite UMP Modifieds, KRNQ Pepsi Inside Track Hobby Stocks and the Summy Tire and Auto Center Wild Things will be racing for points.
