EAGLE, Neb. (July 19, 2008) – Jack Dover completed a sweep of the American Sprint Car Series Midwest vs. Northern Plains Region double by racing to victory lane in Saturday night's 25-lap feature at Eagle Raceway.

But after losing an engine in heat race action, the 18-year-old from Springfield, NE, had to work for this one.

Dover climbed to third in the "B" Main to transfer to the main event and then charged from the 19th starting position to take command on the 16th round en route to his fifth overall ASCS feature win of the season and third ASCS Midwest Region triumph in a row.

Dover took the checkered flag in front of current ASCS Northern Plains Region points leader Lee Grosz, who raced from tenth after a heat race flip. Before surrendering the point to Dover, Grosz had set the pace for a handful of laps after taking the lead away from Gene Ackland on the 11th circuit.

Jason Danley trailed Dover and Grosz at the line, with Ackland and Jeff Griffis rounding out the top five. Tige Jensen was sixth, with Dave Glennon, Eric Lutz, Robbie Wolfgang and Josh Riggins completing the top ten.

Jay Russell, Ackland and Danley topped heat race action, with Riggins winning the "B" Main.
