John Hall Racing calls it quits for 2010

MARION, IOWA (July 16, 2010)—John Hall and his Left Turn Enterprises racing team are deeply saddened to report that they have had to call a premature end to their 2010 racing season.

A broken fuel pump suffered at Knoxville Raceway on June 19 was followed by a blown motor at Knoxville on June 26. After checking things over, the team found more damage than the budget can support at this time.

After his last showing at Knoxville, Hall was 20^th in the point standings. However, drivers must compete at 75 percent of the shows in a season to qualify for Knoxville's Championship Cup Series point system.

The team will now try to focus on the future to see if a 2011 season is feasible. Additional sponsorship funding would be a tremendous help in making that happen. Sponsorship opportunities at all levels are welcome and would be greatly appreciated.

Car owners are Charles and Doris Hall. Crew members are Darrell Bonesteel, Steve Lindell, Cass Page and Cole Page. Sponsors include APC Emmert Metal Fabricators, Thompson Aero Service, Marion Dairy Queen, Brake Man Brake Systems, Chalk Stix Torsion Bars, Team Enterprises, Parker Engines and Butler Built Seat Systems.

The team's website at www.johnhallracing.com contains more information.

And a “John Hall Racing #7H” fan page has been created for those on Facebook. For more information, contact Stacy Ervin, public-relations coordinator, at stacyerv@Lcom.net.
