O’REILLY USMTS NATIONAL TOUR, KEN SCHRADER RETURN TO IOWA STATE FAIRGROUNDS MONDAY

DES MOINES, Iowa (June 15) - The O’Reilly USMTS National Tour is back in action this Monday, June 16, with a Central States Region tilt at the Iowa State Fair Speedway in Des Moines, Iowa.

Postponed on June 2 because of rain, NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader will be among the more than 50 entries expected to vie for the victory on NASCAR Night presented by Karl Chevrolet.

Pit gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and grandstand gates will swing open at 5. Schrader will be signing autographs for the fans from 5:30 to 6:30. The first green flag is scheduled to wave at 7 p.m. Tickets are available on race day at the track, and all grandstand seating will be general admission only, so get there early to grab your seat for this one-of-a-kind event.

The rugged road warriors of the O’Reilly USMTS National Tour will be led into battle by Central States Region points leader Zack VanderBeek, who will be debuting his new Cheetos/Casey's General Stores livery. Other drivers expected for this blockbuster event include Al Hejna, Jason Hughes, Kelly Shryock, Dereck Ramirez, Ron Ver Beek, Donovan Lodge, Colt Mather, Ryan Gustin, Alan Mondus, Brad Pinkerton, Jay Noteboom, Mark Noble, Chris Spieker, Brandon Kenny, Bryan Rowland, Cale Sponsler, Jake Neal, Nate Caruth, Michael Long, Brandon Banks, Steve Kosiski, Josh Truman, David Holder, Steve Stewart, Scott Dickey, Jeff Schluetter, Steve Wetzstein, Bruce Hanford, Scott Stecher, Steven Blattler, David Ott, Kyle Harwood, Carey Umbarger, Richie Gustin Jr., Scott Green and many more.

Race fans can pick up $2-off coupons for the event at Casey's General Stores locations in Ankeny, Des Moines and Pleasant Hill. Mark Noble, who will be driving the Miller Lite/Casey's General Stores #74 Dirt Dueler Modified will meet and greet fans at the Casey's General Stores location at 1010 SE Oralabor Rd. in Ankeny from 12-2 p.m. The Casey's General Stores location at 1125 N. Hickory Rd. in Pleasant Hill will find VanderBeek on hand from 12-2 p.m.
with his Cheetos/Casey's General Stores #33z Skyrocket Modified.

Also on the racing card will be Stock Cars, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks. Those that are legal under either USRA or IMCA rules will be allowed to compete, but there will be no points awarded and the claim rule will not be in effect.

Beginning June 29, the O’Reilly USMTS National Tour teams will get a well-deserved Summer Break, returning to action on Tuesday, July 22, at the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa.
