Entries rolling in for 13th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (Sept. 9) – From coast to coast and border to border, drivers from all over America are setting their sights on the 13th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree – the undisputed marquee event for America’s most talented Modified drivers on dirt.

This year’s blockbuster event returns to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., Wednesday through Saturday, Sept. 21-24.

What Knoxville and Eldora are to Sprint Cars and Late Models, no man or woman who races an open-wheel dirt Modified has a complete résumé if it’s missing a trip to the Deer Creek Speedway and there is no prize more prestigious than that of being called Featherlite Fall Jamboree Champion at the Mecca of Modifieds.

‘The Creek’ is a high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval which sits on 60 acres with one of America’s most popular state-of-the-art racing complexes and an adjoining campground.

More USMTS main events have been staged here than any other racetrack, and Thursday’s Featherlite Fall Jamboree opener will be the 55th race here in the 13-year history of the United States Modified Touring Series.

With nearly $200,000 in posted awards for the event, each entrant is guaranteed at least $350 in earnings.

Entries are rolling in and officials have extended the early entry deadline for new and previous Featherlite Fall Jamboree competitors. Between now and Sept. 18, the entry fee is just $200. After the, the entry fee is $250 and at the gate on race day the price is $300.

Drivers may also pre-enter for single days. Thursday is $100 if pre-entered or $125 at the gate, Friday is $125 if pre-entered or $140 at the gate and Saturday is $150 if pre-entered or $175 at the gate.
