WESTVILLE, OK (October 11, 2011) - Jason Hughes raced his way to his 15th triumph of the 2011 season on Saturday night in his #12 West Siloam Pawn/Gressel Racing/Hughes/Mullins Race Engines Open Wheel Modified with a victory at Outlaw Motor Speedway. The last minute decision to enter a Weekly Racing Series Event at Outlaw Motor Speedway (Oktaha, Oklahoma) turned into Jason's fifteenth win of the 2011 season. In heat race action, Hughes would charge through the field to the win, along the way accumulating the most passing points to lock into the pole starting spot for the main event. At the drop of the green flag Hughes would motor to the lead, and once out from he would drive away from the competition en route to the win, which came over Randy Timms, Andy Morris, Joe Duvall, and Brian Williams. Jason is slated to not race anywhere this coming weekend as he prepares for the $15,000-to-win, Kind of America Modified Nationals at Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kansas). The event, which will be held October 19th-22nd at the 1/4 mile oval, boasts a total payout of over $130,000 including a $15,000-to-win/$1,500-to-start main event on Saturday night.
