Jackson tops Dart Iron Man Challenge action at Scotland County Speedway

MEMPHIS, Mo. (June 19) – Round 3 of the Dart Iron Man Challenge took place at the Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., on Saturday with the third different winner in three races emerging victorious the newly-formed series for the full-fendered USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars.

After nearly 25 years behind the wheel of a Stock Car, nearly 200 wins and five Super Nationals victories, Steve Jackson of Polk City, Iowa, added yet another entry to his glowing résumé with a victory in Saturday’s main event.

Jackson, who finished seventh and fourth in the first two Dart Iron Man Challenge events, used the pole position and his wealth of experience to hold off former USRA National Champion Nathan Wood of Sigourney, Iowa, for the $500 top prize.

Mike Jeannette made his first Dart Iron Man Challenge start pay off with a third-place finish, holding off fellow Newton, Iowa, pilot Mike Van Genderen and Jakoby Hooper of Kahoka, Mo.

Sixth through tenth, respectively, went to Kiel Morton, David Denham, Greg Harch, Todd Morton and Mark Elliott.
