EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (May 30) – National standings in five divisions determine recipients of awards from new IMCA sponsor Champ Pans.

The Eau Claire, Wis., manufacturer will give $50 product certificates to second through 10th place finishers in national standings for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods.

Certificates can be applied to purchases from Champ Pans or sister company Champ Brackets and will be presented during the national awards banquet or mailed the following week from the IMCA home office.

“IMCA has been around for a lot of years and has been very successful,” noted Champ Pans Sales Representative Jake Redetzke. “We wanted a variety of drivers to receive awards and this program accomplishes that.

“When you finish in the top 10 and go to the national banquet, it’s cool to get a certificate you can actually use,” he added. “We’re very happy to be on board with IMCA. It’s nice to be partners with a sanctioning body that has been so successful.”

Champ Pans was founded in 1983 by Jerry Redetzke, later a WISSOTA national champion. His sons Jake and Jesse are both in sales at Champ Pans and compete in local late model and super stock classes, respectively.

“Champ Pans is a very reputable name in the racing industry and their R&D is on display each weekend in Wisconsin,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “It is great to be affiliated with their organization and we look forward to a lasting and successful relationship.”
