SUPERIOR, Wis. (June 12) – The USMTS Casey’s Cup Series is back in action this Wednesday through Saturday, June 13-16, with four night of racing at three top-notch dirt ovals in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

On Wednesday, the USMTS Modifieds invade the Amsoil Speedway in Superior, Wis., for the first time in series history. An unknown for most of the touring USMTS titans, local stars such as Al Uotinen, Jody Bellefeuille, Ross Lightner, Rick Rivord and the track’s all-time career Modified wins leader Darrell Nelson among others.

The USMTS Modifieds make another maiden voyage on Thursday when they visit the Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids, Minn. The track got a new owner during the off-season and the new leadership has made many improvements to the former Golden Spike Speedway, including remodeled VIP suites and a new restaurant area for fans.

Fans will notice immediate improvements to the facility including a completely new racing surface, newly remodeled restaurant building, renovated Wild Country press building plus general clean up, beautification and modernization to the overall facility.

Pits and grandstand gates will open at 4 p.m., hot laps will be held at 6 and racing will begin at 7. Midwest Mods ($500 to win), Pure Stocks, Hobby Stocks and Hornets will also be in action.
