| August 1, 2012

DONNELLSON, Iowa (Aug. 1, 2012) – KILJ of Mt. Pleasant and Coors Light bring racing action to Lee County Speedway, this Friday, Aug. 3! It’s a night that offers a great way to see some of the best racing action in Iowa, at a very affordable price!

Family Motors, of West Burlington, is offering its Fan Appreciation Night as well, stop in and see Isaiah, at the dealership across from Menards, to see how you can get a free ticket to the races!

Also, with high school football season just around the corner, it is one of the last times those football players and their parents may get to see an entire night of racing action this season! So, we have made this week High School Football Night as well. If fans wear an area high school’s jersey or football t-shirt, they will get in absolutely free! Show your support for your favorite high school team and get in free, let’s start the bragging rights for the upcoming season a little early!

During intermission, any football players who may be in the crowd will be honored as well!

Then, last but not least, did we mention it is just $7 for all paid adults? That’s right, just $7 for adults to get in and students 11-17 are still just $5. If we have over 500 paid adults this week, the August 17 event will be just $6 for adult grandstand entry! Come on out and help keep the prices going down!

All five of our normal classes will be in racing action, including Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars, Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA Sport Mods, Coors Light LCS Hobby Stocks and Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with hot laps at 7 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. For more information visit www.leecountyspeedway.com.
