Hawkeye Downs Speedway Releases 2015 Schedule
Cedar Rapids, IA (December 21,2014)– Hawkeye Downs Speedway is pleased to announce the preliminary schedule of racing dates for 2015. Some revisions are still possible along with the possibility of more events being added.
The 2015 Season kicks off with the annual Car Show and Day on Saturday, May 2nd. Later that day will be the first open practice of the season. The first official racing event is a special Saturday racing event on May 9th. Weekly racing moves to its regular Friday night times starting on May 15 and continues through August 21.
Coming up Saturday, January 24 is the 2014 Racing Banquet at Dublin City Pub. Social Hour is 6pm, Dinner is at 7pm and the Program begins at 8pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance from the Hawkeye Downs Business Office. Adiitional information is available at www.hawkeyedownsspeedway.com.
The 2015 Hawkeye Downs Rules Package is expected to be available before the banquet.
