IMCA Sprint Car, Sport Compact awards new to KRC program

| April 30, 2012

LOCKWOOD, Mo. (April 30) – Kluhsman Racing Components has added two more divisions to its IMCA awards program for 2012.

Top three finishers in national point standings for RaceSaver Sprint Cars and for Mach-1 Sport Compacts receive $75 product certificates from the Lockwood, Mo., high performance parts manufacturer.

The same awards go to top three finishers in national point races for IMCA Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks; the top three drivers in each of the five IMCA Modified regions; and the top 10 nationally for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMods.

Kluhsman returns to national decal programs for the two SportMod divisions so all drivers in those classes are required to display two KRC decals on their race car to be eligible for post-season awards and point fund shares.

Product certificates will be mailed directly from KRC after points become official this fall.

Information about KRC-made products is available by calling 800 814-5745 or at the www.krcracing.com website.

“KRC has always been very active with each of our divisions and adding the Sprint Cars and Sport Compacts to this program in 2012 was in line with that activity,” noted IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “They manufacture key components applicable to all IMCA race cars that increase safety and performance.”
