Jack Sullivan Registers Fourth Win of 2012 Campaign
Greenbrier, Arkansas (09/11/12) – Jack Sullivan turned a last minute change in plans into a $3,000 victory over the weekend after he topped the 2nd Annual Rockabilly 45 at Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) in his #1 Triple A Diesel/GRT Super Late Model. 

While the initial intent of Jack and Team GRT was to travel to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the 42nd Annual World 100, mechanical issues on the hauler before the team could even depart the state of Arkansas, resulted in them modifying the weekend plans to take in the 2nd Annual Rockabilly 45 at Northeast Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas), which was sanctioned by the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models. 

After seeing Friday night’s portion of the event nixed by rain a single event was held on Saturday evening, which drew a field of thirty entries to the 1/4 mile oval.  Via heat race action Jack raced his way into the eighth starting spot for the 45 lap finale, and as the race went green Sullivan began working his way forward.  He quickly found himself into the top five, and as the race approached its latter stages Jack began battling side-by-side with Tanner English for the second spot.  With just a few laps remaining the leader, Kyle Beard, would have a flat tire, which allowed Sullivan to inherit the lead.  Jack went on to lead the closing laps to claim the victory, which came over Tanner English, Brandon Smith, Wendell Wallace, and Jon Kirby.  Full results from the event are available at www.COMPDirt.com . 

Weather permitting the team currently plans to enter a pair of World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model events this coming weekend, September 14th-15th.  On Friday night the 1/5 mile oval at Belle-Clair Speedway (Belleville, Illinois) will play host to a $12,000-to-win event before the action shifts to I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Missouri) on Saturday night for the $10,000-to-win, Pepsi Nationals.  For more information on the events, please visit www.WoOLMS.com .
