Quincy, Illinois (Jan. 13, 2015) – 16-year-old Jake Griffin is excited to announce that he has inked a deal with MB Motorsports to pilot their #63 Chevrolet Silverado entry in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event at Martinsville Speedway (Martinsville, Virginia) on Saturday, March 28th.

The Kroger 250 will mark Griffin’s first start in NCWTS competition, and it will be coming with a historic team. MB Motorsports is the oldest team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Their history with the tour dates back to the inaugural season in 1995.

The team, which is owned by Missouri-based, Mittler Brothers, will be teaming with Jake Griffin, who became the youngest driver to ever win a NASCAR sanctioned event after a claiming win at the age of 14-years-old in 2013.

“Words can’t describe how excited I am for this opportunity,” said Griffin. “It’s been my dream since I was a small child to compete in the NASCAR ranks. I can’t thank MB Motorsports enough for giving me this opportunity.” He concluded by noting, “I plan to do everything within my ability to capitalize on the opportunity.”

The team is currently seeking sponsorship to enter more events during the 2015 campaign. At 16-years-old Jake can enter up to nine races this season.

Jake Griffin Racing is also currently preparing their Dirt Modified equipment to compete in the DIRTCar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) in early February.
