MARION, IOWA (May 19, 2012)—John Hall and his Left Turn Enterprises Racing Team had a night of ups and downs at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, May 19.

With a total of 23 cars set to race in the 360 division, Hall posted a qualifying lap of 16.643 seconds around the half-mile dirt track, which stood at 20^th  place. He then started seventh in his heat race and finished sixth. Starting 17^th  in the A-Main, Hall slipped back a bit and finished up in 20^th  place for the night.

However, the team experienced a big setback in their plans on the drive home when the truck pulling the race-car trailer lost its transmission. With the racing fund near empty, the team will be sitting idle for at least the next several weeks unless sponsorship money can be found to help fix the truck.

It is a big disappointment during Hall’s 25^th  anniversary season of racing at the Sprint Car Capitol of the World in Knoxville, where he earned the Rookie of the Year title in the 360 division in 1988. Hall runs a Maxim Chassis with Parker Engines. The car is owned by Charles and Doris Hall.

The team welcomes any type of financial help and sponsorship assistance.
