Mother Nature Claims Another One at the Pepsi Lee County Speedway

Donnellson, IA (Thursday, May 3, 2018) – On Thursday, May 3rd the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Models Series was scheduled to make their first and only stop of 2018 at the Pepsi Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa. But thanks to mother nature the nights events that was suppose to be presented by Roberts Tire Center and Floyd’s E-Z Way Container Services, both out of Burlington, Iowa, have been cancelled.

 

Rain most of the day and overnight on Wednesday, May 2nd, and again on Thursday, May 3rd forced the officials at the Pepsi Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa, in conjunction with the officials of the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series, to cancel Thursday nights program. A tentative rescheduled date has been set for Friday, August 31st.

 

Coming up next week Friday, May 11th at the Pepsi Lee County Speedway will be another points night. In action will be the Steffes Late Models, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Donnellson Tire & Service IMCA Stock Cars, Discount Tire & Service IMCA SportMods, Coors Light Hobby Stocks, and Armstrong Tractor IMCA Sport Compacts.

 

Gates will open at 5:30 PM, hot laps at 7 PM, and racing at 7:30 PM. Grandstand admission will be adults $10, seniors (60+) $9, students (11-17) $5, and kids 10 & under FREE!! Pit passes are $25, age 7-13 $15, ages 4-6 $10, and ages 3 & under $3.
