Nine Race Fall Specials at Three Tracks Set to Kick-Off This Weekend

Memphis, MO (Tuesday, September 27, 2016) – The Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Missouri has been idol since July, but will host the “Memphis Bottom Heavy Fall Special” this weekend on Friday, September 30th and Saturday, October 1st. Which will also kick-off a nine race fall special events at three tracks in the area.

In action both nights this weekend will be the Modifieds, Stock Cars, SportMods, Hobby Stocks, and Sport Compacts, with the Lee County Late Models joining the card on Saturday night. Both nights will be a complete show, with a full payout each night. All drivers will draw for there starting spot in the heat races each night, with passing points being used to help determine any B Mains being ran and the feature line-ups.

Each night the Modifieds will be racing for $580 to win and second paying $600, with $125 guaranteed to start the feature. While the Stock Cars and SportMods are racing for $480 to win and second paying $500, with $100 guaranteed to start the feature. The Hobby Stocks are racing for $380 to win and second paying $400, with $100 guaranteed to start the feature. And the Sport Compacts are going for $280 to win and second paying $300, with $50 guaranteed to start the feature. But if more then 30 cars show up on any night in the Modifieds, Stock Cars and SportMods then they will be racing for $1,000 to win. The Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts will be gunning for $500 to win if 30 plus cars show up any night. A top prize of $2,000 will be offered in the Modifieds, Stock Cars and SportMods if 40 plus cars show up any night, while the Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts will be going for $1,000 to win if 40 plus cars show up on any night. Entry fees for each night will be $50 for the Modifieds, Stock Cars, and SportMods, with the Hobby Stocks entry fee each night being $40, and the Sport Compacts entry fee each night being $30. The Lee County Late Models will race Saturday for $500 to win, with no entry fee.

The complete payout for each night will be the following: MODIFIEDS – 1. $580, 2. $600, 3. $400, 4. $300, 5. $250, 6. $200, 7. $190, 8. $175, 9. $160, 10. $150, 11. $135, 12.-24. $125 TOW $60…STOCK CARS & SPORTMODS – 1. $480, 2. $500, 3. $400, 4. $300, 5. $250, 6. $200, 7. $150, 8. $140, 9. $130, 10. $125, 11. $120, 12.-24. $100 TOW $50…HOBBY STOCKS – 1. $380, 2. $400, 3. $250, 4. $200, 5. $175, 6. $150, 7. $125, 8. $120, 9. $115, 10. $110, 11. $105, 12.-24. $100 TOW $40…SPORT COMPACTS – 1. $280, 2. $300, 3. $200, 4. $150, 5. $125, 6. $110, 7. $100, 8. $85, 9. $75, 10. $70, 11. $65, 12. $60, 13.-24. $50 TOW $30.

Hot Laps on Friday will begin at 7 PM, with Racing to follow. Then on Saturday Hot Laps will get started at 6 PM, with Racing to follow. Grandstand admission for each night will be adults $15, students (7-16) $7, and kids 6 & under FREE! Pit passes each night will be $30, ages (7-13) $20, and ages 6 & under $10. Or a two day pit pass will be offered on Friday for $55.

A bonus of $200 for any Modified, Stock Car, and SportMod driver who has a perfect attendance at all nine fall special events is being offered, while any Hobby Stock driver will receive $150 and any Sport Compact driver will receive $100 for perfect attendance at all nine fall specials. This bonus will be pro rated with any cancellations, and will be paid out at Shiverfest. Here is the schedule for the nine race fall specials:

Friday, October 7th & Saturday, October 8th – MUSCO Lighting Fall Challenge at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, IA

Friday, October 14th & Saturday, October 15th – 5th Annual Fall Extravaganza at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, IA

Friday, October 21st & Saturday, October 22nd – Memphis Fall Nationals at the Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, MO

Saturday, October 29th – Shiverfest at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, IA
