RAIN HALTS DAVENPORT OPENER

DAVENPORT, Ia. (April 6, 2013) – Despite best efforts, Mother Nature was the big winner at the Davenport Speedway, Saturday night. Intermittent sprinkles had been falling throughout the evening, but shortly before the start of the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders feature the skies opened. 

The SportMod  and 4-Stock features will be made up on Friday, April 19th. At this time, no decision has been made on making up the Sprint Invader main. 

Next Friday, April 12th, the cars and stars of the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series visit the Davenport Speedway. Also racing with the late models will be IMCA Modifieds and DTR Street Stocks. All the racing will be on the big half-mile track.
