SPRINGFIELD, MO (Feb. 4, 2013) – It is becoming one of the longest running events in Springfield to break the boredom of winter as this weekend the Arena at the Springfield Fairgrounds comes to life with the 10th annual Indoor winter Nationals presented by Lucas Oil Products.

This event will feature a wide variety of racing to keep everyone entertained as Go-Karts, Pit Bikes, Lawn Mowers, Quads, and Motorcycles compete in two separate shows on Friday Night February 8th and Saturday Night February 9th.

This season the Stock Heavy Kart Class has a guaranteed $1,000 to win feature event on Saturday night and should the same driver be able to capture both Friday and Saturday Night’s feature, they will pocket an additional $1,000. Last season saw South Carolina’s Kyle Heitz recovered from an opening lap incident and brought home the feature win along with the $1,000 payday over a star-studded field of Stock Heavy Karters from a 5 state area.

The future drivers also get to shine their talents as a guaranteed purse for the Jr I and Jr II classes is up for grabs as many different type of Kart classes compete in the biggest Karting Event in Southwest Missouri.

Local flavor will highlight this event on Saturday night as the local Bois D’Arc Karting Club will hold a Championship event also.

This season the Pit Bikes will find a larger track which always means more action for riders and fans a like as the Sho-Me Pit Bike Series brings the best around.

The Gates open at 6PM each night while action starts at 7:30. Advance tickets are on sale at WWW.Motorheadevents.Com or Ron’s Racing Collectibles in Springfield. Transport Graphics, Springfield Raceway, Incredible Pizza and All Metal Recycling are co-sponsors for this weekend’s action.
