WINSTON, MO (October 13, 2013) – Hobby Stocks were the first to tackle the 3/8 mile of dirt as the Show-Me Spectacular got underway.  Starting from the outside of row one the familiar face of Lee Farmer #17f never looked back on his way to claiming the nights top spot.  Although Farmer would lead every lap he was challenged often by the #4c of Curt Reed who would place second.  Scott Treadwell #9t9 would battle side by side with 2013 track champion Mich Ross #34, with Treadwell placing third and Ross placing fourth.  Tyson Overton #42t, after picking up the heat race win, would round out the nights top five. The other heat race winner was Troy Phillips #66t.

In a caution plagued feature the Stock Cars would see the 2013 track champion Dean Wray #77 drive his way to victory from a pole starting spot.  The best racing of the feature was between Gene Stigall #20 and Shane Florence #41, as they swapped positions on the track almost every lap.  Stigall would gain advantage to finish second as he would hold Florence to third.  Greg Keuhn #6x would avoid all of the on track altercations to finish fourth as Shawn Lee #4d would place fifth.  Heat race winners included Gene Stigall #20, Jake Cameron #86c, and Shane Florence #41.

Bringing new faces to the track and racing for the $1000 paycheck the B-Modifieds did not disappoint.  Gene Claxton #42, who is no stranger to victory lane with over 350 feature wins to his credit, would use a front row starting position to lead every lap on his way to victory.  Claxton was challenged early and often by young gun Shadren Turner #17 and Mike Higley #11.  Turner would fall just a little short to finish second, with Higley strong third.  Clint Baker #17x, who came from a sixth row inside starting position, would charge his way through the pack to place fourth as he took the checkered flag sideways.  Bud Wilson driving car #76 would round out the top five.  Heat race winners were Matt Dorssom #3d, Clint Baker #17x, Gene Claxton #42, and Jeremy Pittsenbarger #32p; B-feature winner was Yancy Shepard #20t.
