ASCS Winged Sprint Cars set to invade Lucas Oil Speedway this Saturday night!

WHEATLAND, MO (June 18, 2014) – Don’t miss the first of only two appearances of 2014 by the Lucas Oil ASCS National Winged Sprint Car Dirt Series Presented by MavTV American Real. The finale of the Lucas Oil ASCS Bob Westphal Memorial Cup Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek 2014 happens this Saturday, June 21st at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The Impact Signs, Awnings, & Wraps WAR Wingless Auto Racing Sprint Cars will also be tackling the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” this Saturday night.

Sunset Hills, Missouri’s Brad Loyet leads the ASCS posse into battle as he sits on top of the season long points standings with a miniscule 15 point lead over “The Ragin’ Cajun” Jason Johnson. Veteran Johnny Herrera driving his familiar #45x machine sits in the third spot just 38 points out of the lead. Jeff Swindell and Aaron Reutzel round out the top five in ASCS National Tour points respectively. Sam Hafertape Jr., Tony Bruce Jr., Seth Bergman, Blake Hahn, and Matt Covington occupy the remainder of the top-10.

The race this Saturday is also a points race for the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region Winged Sprint Cars. Jay Russell sits atop the Warrior Region standings with Randy Hibbs in the second spot followed by J.R. Topper in third. Cody Baker and Kyle Bellm round out the top-5. In Impact Signs, Awnings, & Wraps WAR Wingless Auto Racing Series action,  Spring Hill, Kansas’ Chad Goff sits on top with 545 points as he leads Buckner, Missouri’s Josh Stephens by just a 12 point margin. Bob Thoman out of Higginsville, Missouri sits in third with Chris Parkinson and John Helm taking care of business in fourth and fifth respectively. The remainder of the top-10 includes Jeff Wingate, Devon Huff, Pete Palazzolo, Mitchell Moore, and Taylor Walton.
