Harris Wins IMCA Late Model Victory at West Liberty

WEST LIBERTY, IA (May 17, 2014) – Brian Harris passed Jonathon Brauns for the lead after a caution with three laps remaining to win the twenty five lap I_Wireless IMCA late model feature here at the west liberty raceway saturday night.Todd Mallstrom was third,Spencer Dierks fourth,with Andy Eckrich fifth.
Richie Gustin got his second Performance Concepts IMCA Modified feature win of the season here at the raceway holding off Caden Carter for the victory.Scott Dickey was fourth,with Dakota Hayden fifth.
A good feild of Weikert Iron and Metal IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds were on hand this week as young oskaloosa,iowa driver,Brayton Carter won for the third week in a row.Tony Olsen was second,Austin Moyer third,Bryce Garnhart fourth,with Tyler Sopee fifth. David Brandies has put together a string of wins in the Kile Motrorsports IMCA stock car division.Brandon Jay,John Hemstead,Nathan Wood,and Lane Kaufmann rounded out the top fifve.
Bobby Lake grabbed his second IMCA Sport Compact feature win of the season.Bill Whalen Jr. was second,Doug Watkins was third,Jordan Walker fourth,with Steve Struck fifth.
