Scotland County Speedway event cancelled

| May 7, 2016

Memphis, Missouri (May 7, 2016) – Lucas Oil MLRA and Scotland County Speedway officials have jointly decided to cancel tonight’s event due to the high likelihood of precipitation later this afternoon.

“We always hate to lose an event, but the forecast for later on today really doesn’t look favorable for racing,” said Lucas Oil MLRA Assistant Series Director Ernie Leftwich. “We don’t want the racers to pull here to watch it rain, and we don’t want the fans to show up and have to pull the plug either. It’s best to just make the decision early today.”

Next on the schedule for the Lucas Oil MLRA is a twin bill next weekend at Dubuque Speedway and Deer Creek Speedway.
